Mission

The SCJ aims for a better understanding and hence treatment of musculoskeletal disorders through continuous research and education. Through intensive cooperation with other
(para)-medical organizations, the SJC tries to achieve more effectiveness in diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. The Staff of the SJC is involved in
post graduate (para-)medical education.

Patient Target Group

The Spine & Joint Centre is a non clinical rehabilitation centre. In view however of her background and vision, the SJC specifically aims on diagnosis and treatment of chronic musculoskeletal disorders and more specifically back-pelvic-and neck disorders. It goes without saying that the principles of treatment also apply for knee- and shoulder disorders and possibly even for diseases fibromyalgie and tiredness syndromes. It is assumed that in cases of tiredness syndromes and fibromyalgie a musculoskeletal disorder is relevantly responsible for maintaining complaints. We are convinced that a specific trainings-and education program as conducted at the SJC should be part of an integral treatment of these diseases.
